The ideas for these lyrics began with my oldest daughter and developed further with each of my younger two girls. Whenever they were not in a good mood or feeling down, we would begin a game, called, “let’s find your smile.” We would ask them to look for their smile in their pocket, under the couch, under the bed, etc. This usually seemed to get them smiling and often changed their mood for the better. Did you know that when you change the outside of yourself it affects how you feel on the inside of yourself?

A smile that erases a frown or a sad face, can make you feel better on the inside. **
